Cascadia Putting Club was thrilled to be part of one of Portland’s most unique traditions—the PDX Adult Soapbox Derby. Quirky, creative, and community-driven, it’s an event that feels right at home with what we’re building at Cascadia Putting Club.
We set up a nine-hole mini golf course in the mid-track area alongside the food carts and vendors, giving spectators something fun to do between races throughout the day. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., we had players of all ages—from little kids to grandparents—picking up putters and playing throughout the day.
With racers bringing some incredible creativity to their soapbox cars, we tried to bring a little of that same spirit to the course. It was a great day of mini golf, wildly creative racing, and being part of the Portland community.
