There’s something special about getting to explore the Oregon Zoo after hours—and for three nights this summer, Cascadia Putting Club got to be part of the fun.
We brought three of our featured mini golf holes to the Zoo’s Discovery Plaza for a Wild Wednesday night and two Wine for Wildlife events. These adult-only evenings give guests a chance to experience the Zoo in a completely different way, with food, drinks, entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to embrace being a kid at heart. Mini golf fit right in.
Guests could grab a putter and play a few holes as they made their way through the evening. For Wine for Wildlife, we added light-up golf balls to the course, which became especially fun as the sun went down. By 8:30 or 9 p.m., guests were putting glowing golf balls through the course under the night sky.
Across all three nights, it was a fun, easy-to-join experience that gave guests another reason to stop, play, and enjoy a summer night at the Zoo.
