This year, Valley Catholic High School in Beaverton decided to do homecoming a little differently. Instead of a traditional football game, the school brought students together for a homecoming carnival filled with games, food, and a little friendly competition.
Nine holes of Cascadia Putting Club were set up on the field alongside volleyball, yard games, Pop-A-Shot, and food trucks. Students could grab a putter, play a round with friends, and then head off to check out everything else happening around the carnival.
The leaderboard quickly became one of the most popular parts of the course. Students competed for the top spots, tried to beat their teachers, and kept coming back for another round to see if they could improve their scores.
